Round two of the BSB championship brings us to the first visit of three to the Brand Hatch circuit, The first meeting will held around the indy circuit the best way to describe this layout is short and scratchy with limited passing opportunities it is easily my least favourite track on the calendar as I feel that the Superbikes are just to fast for this layout.
Brands Hatch itself was first used as a dirt track it has held 12 meeting of the British Grand Prix between 1964 and 1986 it was also used in the World Superbike Championship up until 2008. Currently it hosts all sorts of British Championship racing from British Superbike to British Touring Car.

Track Guide from a couple of years ago:
Brands is Shane Byrne’s local circuit and he is the undoubted king around it and after suffering a concussion at round one and being forced to miss both races Shane Byrne will be hoping to regain some points on Leon Haslam this weekend who stole a march on the defending champion with a dominant two race win performance last time out. Josh Brookes returned to the championship with a bang having a run in with Luke Mossey in race one but having the pace to get pole in race two where he finished in second he will be hoping to build of this at Brands and continue to reacquaint himself with the R1. The other riders who will be hoping to carry on their strong start to the season will be Haslam’s team mate Luke Mossey, Peter Hickman, Christian Iddon and Glenn Irwin the last of whom confirmed his return to the North West 200 on his Ducati in May.
The races this weekend will held on the Monday due to the Easter break.
